DL-Javon Provitt returns for 2022

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of DL-Javon Provitt (Warren, HS) for the 2022 season. Provitt begins his third season with the Express and returns as one of our defensive starters. 

Javon played a major role in leading us last year to a perfect season and the 2021 GDFL National Championship. We kicked off the 2022 season with a victory in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship game as well. 

Provitt is a graduate of Warren Harding High School where he was a standout athlete in both football and track. Javon earned All-State and All Region accolades in both sports. 

"Javon has done an amazing job for us up front the past few years. He eats up space and keeps constant pressure on the quarterback forcing them into situations they don't want to be in. He is a very positive player, enjoys what he is doing and makes the game fun for both the coaches and his teammates. We are blessed to have him back on board this year and are expecting another great season from him in 2022"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
