The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of LB-Pap Keeler (Thiel College) for the 2023 season. Pap begins his first season with us and will look to earn a spot in the starting defensive rotation and on special teams.

Pap is a graduate of Farrell, HS where he was an All State LB and helped lead his team to a D10 Championship as well as the PIAA Quarterfinals where he was named Player of the Game for his 2 sack and 3 tfl game.

Keller played his college ball at Thiel College where he was a starter for 7 games at LB as a true Freshman finishing the season with 45 tackles. Keller then went on to play for Steel City Prep and Aces Elite Junior College in 2019. Pap played for Steel City Prep 20’ & 21’

Played 2 games (season canceled due to lack of players and coaches) Pap most recently played for Aces Elite Junior College in 2022. First game 7 tackles, assisted sack and force fumble.

"Pap attended our open combine and impressed the coaches with his quickness and football IQ. He has been on our radar so seeing him move was really all that was needed to seal the deal. He is a proven winner and will be a great addition to our already impressive defense. We are expecting great things from him in 2023"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
