Express add new Offensive Assistant for 2023

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the addition of David Gardner to our coaching staff for 2023. David begins his first season with the Express but brings a wealth of knowledge and a championship winning pedigree with him.

Coach Gardner began his coaching career with the  Carolina Recon where he coached the Offensive/Defensive Linemen. David later took over as the head coach from 2015-2017 and compiled an impressive 28-12 record including three playoff appearances. 

From 2017-2021 Coach Gardner led the Carolina Red Devils of the ACFA. During his tenure the Red Devils were 40-10 and appeared in three AFCA Championship Games winning it all in 2021. 

Coach has also served as a Sports Broadcaster and Sports Show Host for WAVQ 95.1 FM and 1400 AM 2015-2022.

David is originally from this area having graduated from Corry High School and currently lives there as well.

Coach is a Small Business Owner of Gardner Food Safety Solutions and Creator of Inspiration Motivation and Dedication Series.
