Erie Headed to USA Bowl - Daytona Beach Florida

HERE WE GOOOOOO!!! ALLLLL ABOARD!!!

We are pleased to announce that we have been invited to, and accepted the invite, to play in next years (January 2025) USA Bowl XVII National Championships XVII Fall Division National Championship Bowl Game in Daytona Beach, FL. This will be our third trip to play for a National Championship in the past four seasons. (2022 National Champion 25-24 over Iredell County Warriors, 2023 National Championship Runners Up 17-20 Minneapolis Warriors).

These National Bowl games are designed to place top teams from across the country against one another in a game they normally would not be able to play. There will be a "National Champion" crowned for the Top 25, Summer, Spring and Fall seasons.

Our opponent is the Indy Bison out of Indianapolis, Indiana. They are ranked #6 by the USA Bowl Committee. The Bison come into the game 12-2 during the 2024 season and were MCFL Champions. The Bison's only losses were to two USA Bowl participants this year in the #2 MC Rams and #7 Detroit Ravens. The Bison are also the defending USA Bowl National Champions. This will be the Bison's second USA Bowl National Championship Game appearance.

The Express are ranked #9 by the USA Bowl Committee and come into the game 11-2 on the 2024 season. The Express were runners up in the TPFL and both losses were to the TPFL Champion Columbus Fire. Erie defeated the Iredell County Warriors to win the 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Title. The Express came up just short in the 2023 USA Bowl, losing to the Minneapolis Warriors 17-20. This will be Erie's third appearance in a National Bowl Game.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

The game will be played at Municipal Stadium on January 18th. Kickoff is set for 3:45pm. FREE parking, concessions and merchandise available at the game. There will be a LIVE Broadcast available ay USABOWL.ORG. We will provide LIVE updates via X, Facebook and ScoreStream as always.

We hope to kick off the 2025 season as champions. The task will not be an easy one as the Bison are a defending championship winning team who have played in these games multiple times. We welcome and look forward to the challenge they will present. GO EXPRESS!
