Congratulations to All-Pro LB-Youssef Barakat

Congratulations to Erie Express All-Pro LB-Youssef Barakat on signing with the Orlando Predators for the 2023 season. Barakat's contract is the 88th pro contract signed by an Express player and one of the many reasons we do what we do.

Last season Youssef helped lead the Wichita Force to the AFA Championship. Barakat joined us for our playoff run as well as in the USA Bowl Spring Division National Championship Bowl Game in January of this year.

Youssef played a major role in our victories in the 2021 GDFL National Championship and 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Bowl Game.

Youssef is the third Express player from our 2022 roster to sign a professional contract. OL-William Barry- West Michigan Ironmen and OL-Bishop Simmons-Salina Liberty.
