CHAMPIONSHIP WINNING COACH NICK WALLACE RETURNS FOR 2025

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of Coach Nick Wallace for the 2025 season. Coach Wallace begins his second season with the Express and will be one of our defensive assistants and work with the defensive line.

Coach Wallace did an amazing job for us last season and played a major role in our 2024 TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl (3-6 loss against the Sheboygan County Sabercats).

We also accepted the invite on January 18th to compete for a National Championship against the defending National Champion; Indy Bison in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. (0-41 Loss) Coach played a major role in those team accolades as well!

Prior to joining the Express Staff, Coach Nick was on staff with the Ohio Pitbulls and NEO Silverbacks. In 2019 with the Pitbulls, Coach was a defensive assistant. In 2018 with the Silverbacks he coached special teams and linebackers.

Coach Nick played for Coach Charles Portman in 2017 and was a part of the Silverbacks PAFL Championship winning team.

Coach Wallace has been coaching youth basketball and football for years and has won multiple championships along the way.

"Nick is very passionate and wants to see his players reach their full potential. We love his energy and what he brings to the team. He remains calm under pressure and always keeps his cool. The players feed off his energy and we are blessed to have him back on our sidelines in 2025"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
