2X ALL PRO Returns for 2025 Season

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of 2x All-Pro DL-Javon Provitt (Warren, HS) for the 2025 season. Provitt begins his sixth season with the Express and returns as one of our defensive starters.

Javon did an amazing job for us last season and played a major role in our 2024 TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl (3-6 loss against the Sheboygan County Sabercats).

We also accepted the invite on January 18, 2025 to compete for a National Championship against the defending National Champion; Indy Bison in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. (0-41 Loss) Javon played a major role in those team accolades as well!

Our team success in his previous 5 seasons. 3 Division titles, 1 Region title, 3 National Championship Bowl Game invitations (winning 1) and the 2021 GDFL National Title, League finals appearance, I-75 bowl appearance.  Javon had a direct hand in making possible.

Javon was named GDFL All-Pro for the 2023 season. This was the second time Javon has been named All-Pro while playing for the Express.

Provitt is a graduate of Warren Harding High School where he was a standout athlete in both football and track. Javon earned All-State and All Region accolades in both sports.

He is a tremendous playmaker with great size and footwork. He is a grizzly bear on the field and a teddy bear off. So much fun to be around and his teammates feed off his energy.
